Yellow Armani Exchange Tee and Big Shades(:
Salam Alaik to all!(: Haiyaaa, blogger is being very naughty for the past few days. Cause can't upload photos and stuffs. I'm not whining, but please blogger, one of my resolutions this year is to update my blog regularly (at least once in 3 days? haha). So yeah, don't dampen my spirits please. Please please! & School was okay. Very normal. Haha. Not a bad start for a new term. Hopefully, things won't go wrong for this term. Amin. --------------- Okayokay, now let me tell you a story. This story happened on New Year Eve. A girl, her mum and sis were eating at KFC, Bugis. KFC was very packed at that time so they had no choice but to sit at the long table. You know, when you sit at the long table which has many seats, high chances that strangers may sit with you, or even, sitting beside you. That girl was queueing up to order food when a guy in yellow Armani Exchange t-shirt caught her attention. He's fair and has flawless skin. At once glance, he looked like some superstar who had alot of girl fans. But sadly, he was wearing shades. BIG shades. So the girl couldn't really see what's behind his shades, i mean, what's lying in his eyes. Nonetheless, the girls' eyes and his shades met and they smiled. Orang kate, senyum tu sedekah. Direct translation: Smile is a donation? Hahaha, sorry, the translation seems very weirddd. After ordering, the girl had to take her own chilli sauce at the other counter. That was where she bumped into that guy. Somehow, the girl smiled to herself. It was to her surprise that the guy and his friend was sitting at the long table, next to them. Hohoho! The girl tried to regain her composure and act normally. The girl, her mum and sis were happily eating and chatting away when they heard a soft, low voice greeted them. "Assalamualaikum, korang ni orang Singapore ke?" (Peace be upon you. Are you guys Singaporeans?" The girl was stunned and her mom, being shy, asked her daughter instead to reply back to him. The Armani Exchange Guy. The superstar guy was talking to her(: And so, the conversation started from there. He asked quite alot of qestions and the girl replied with what she could reply. From interesting places in Singapore to school stuffs to his hometown to the buildings outside the KFC and etc, the guy and the girl chatted quite alot. Infact, the girl's mum said to her before, "Don't talk to strangers." But that day, right under her nose, her daughter was happily chatting with a stranger. Hahaha. And one thing that the girl found him 'daring' was that he complimented the girl's mum by saying, " You look young. I thought you're a friend to your daughter. But don't worry Aunty. I'm just complimenting you. Hahaha." The girl chuckled after the guy said that. And smiled to herself. Again. In the middle of conversation, the girl could hear whispers of the guy's friend. He was whispering, "Eh. Ask her for email address lah. Or faceboook." The guy replied, "Don't want lah. Her mum is here you know." Hahaha, the girl laughed silently upon hearing that. Through the conversation, the girl learnt that the guy in the yellow Armani Exchange t-shirt has a Diploma in Accounting. He lives in KL. His mom's hometown is in Segamat, Northern Part of Johor Bahru and has relatives in Yishun. He works in HR department and is studying part-time. See, how much more can a stranger know another stranger in less than an hour? It was almost an hour. The guy had finished eating and had to go. Before going off, his last words were, "See you again. Goodbye." In the girl's heart, "You tell me, when can I ever see you again?" Upon that, the girl's eyes followed the footsteps of the guy till he was nowhere in sight. And sadly, they didn't exchange emails. And suddenly, "DANG! I don't know his name. And he doesn't know my name either. Howells, what to do. I would just call him Armani-Exchange-Guy-at-the-KFC." So this is the story of the conversation between 2 strangers who didn't ask for each other's name. Yet, definitely a fruitful conversation(: Thank youuuuu for reading! :D Labels: one last and never again; |
